HABITAT:  Throughout the world living closely with people.

• The smallest breed of dog is the Chihuahua and the largest is the Irish wolfhound.
• Originally the dog's tail was designed to assist the dog in balancing as it ran, jumped, or turned quickly. Now the tail has adapted, and is used for the communication purpose of saying "hello".
