Soon everyone is back to working hard on their reports. Maddie and Lucas are pretty upset about their project because now all the drawings are wrinkled. And Benny feels even worse about his team project now that he sees that Chimp is the worse teammate ever. Benny's goal is to at least finish his picture by the end of the day and turn it in. He knows it's not a full report but the one drawing is all he has. And Chimp hasn't even done anything useful.

At the end of the day, all the teams turn their projects in to Miss Eddy. They stack the reports on her desk, pick up all their books and papers, and head out the door. 

As the children walk out of the school they see the book on the grass outside the fourth grade classroom. Chimp thinks this is so funny and points over to it and laughs excitedly, "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. Look where it fell!" But the other kids try to ignore him. After all, the book belongs to Miss Eddy, and now it's outside in the damp grass. 

Chimp still tries to get everyone to laugh. "Come on. It's funny." He climbs an apple tree and swings from the branches. "Look at me. Look at me," he yells as swings from a branch. "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha."

When Chimp sees Lucas and Maddie walk by, he runs up to them. But they just frown at him. 

"Come on guys," Chimp chatters. "You aren't still mad at me, are you?" He stands in front of them and tries to get them to talk. But Lucas and Maddie walk past him. 

"Come on. It's just a stupid class project. Who cares if I messed it up a little?" he tries to convince them. But they keep walking. 

"Come on guys." Chimp yells. "It was funny."

Lucas turns around and angrily yells back. "No, it's not funny! You purposely ruined our report." 

Chimp just shrugs "Whatever."

Lucas puts his arms over Maddie's shoulders because she's still upset about her wrinkled architectural drawings.

"I'll ask my Dad how we can fix them, okay?" Lucas reassures her. "He works in an office and has lots of good ideas."
