Meanwhile, back in the woods, Maddie and Wolfinna were looking for the other girls. They had noticed that their friends had gone into the woods and now they wanted to know where they had gone. But Maddie and Wolfinna couldn't find them. Wolfinna thought that maybe the girls had tried to go on their own adventure. She had seen the girls whispering and giggling the day before and telling lots of secrets. 

When they came up to the clubhouse, they saw that the door had been left open. And they saw the two poems and the bright blue and green stone under the willow tree. Maddie went inside the clubhouse and saw the ninja sashes and some weapons on the floor. She knew that Parker would never do that. 

"Wolfinna, come here," Maddie called. "Do you think the girls have gone into an adventure?" Maddie asked. "Maybe what the boys were talking about really happened."

Maddie and Wolfinna had to decide what to do.

"Do you think we should follow them?" Maddie asked her friend.

Wolfinna nodded yes. 

"They may need us," Wolfinna said. "They might not know how to defend themselves without any Ninja skills."

"But how will we find them?" asked Maddie. "How will we know where they went? They could be anywhere."

Wolfinna thought about it. There had to be an answer - there had to be a way. 

"We have to try Maddie. Let's just try," suggested Wolfinna. "But wait."

Wolfinna first picked up the slingshot and the stick which were lying on the floor. And Maddie picked up the four fighting stars and put them in her bag. She also put on one of the head sashes and handed the last remaining one to Wolfinna.

They left the clubhouse and went under the willow tree. Then Maddie and Wolfinna sat on the ground and whispered together, 

	"Follow.
		Follow.
			Follow."
