Meanwhile, back in the woods near the clubhouse, Maddie and Wolfinna were looking for the other girls. They had noticed that the girls had gone into the woods and they wanted to find them. And perhaps the chanted wish from the four girls down below, to return back to The Valley, had reached the two above. Wolfinna sensed that those four might have tried to do something mischievous since they had been whispering and giggling between themselves and telling a lot of secrets the day before. 

As Wolfinna and Maddie walked toward the clubhouse, they noticed that that door had been left open, though it shouldn't have been. Maddie entered the shadowy room and saw that the weapons that had been hidden in the corner were now lying on the floor. And that two ninja sashes were also strewn messily on the floor. She knew that Parker would never have allowed that. Someone must have taken everything out of the corner hiding place.

"Wolfinna, come here," Maddie called. Wolfinna entered the clubhouse and understood Maddie's urgency.

"Do you think the girls have traveled into an adventure?" Maddie asked. "Maybe what the boys were talking about really happened. Maybe they tried to copy Parker and Pandish and the twins when they heard them boasting about Egypt and Anubis and Dinosaur Land. Do you think we should follow them?" 

Wolfinna nodded in agreement. "They may need us. They might not know how to defend themselves without any weapons or ninja skills."

"But how will we find them?" asked Maddie. "How will we know where they went? They could be anywhere. They had to wish it as a group, right?"

Wolfinna thought about it. There had to be a solution - there had to be a way. "We have to try Maddie. Let's just try," suggested Wolfinna. "But wait."

Wolfinna first picked up the slingshot and the bamboo staff which were lying on the floor. And Maddie picked up the four fighting stars and stashed them in her shoulder bag. Maddie also put on one of the ninja sashes and handed the last remaining one to Wolfinna.

They left the clubhouse and headed toward the huge overhanging willow tree. 

Beneath the tree they saw the two decorated hand-written poems and the pretty green and blue rock specimen. They shrugged to each other, probably because they didn't think this was going to work.

Wolfinna finally said softly, "Let's try."

Maddie and Wolfinna quietly sat on each side of the wishing stone and held hands. Together they whispered,

	"Follow.
		Follow.
			Follow."
